Auctor is currently seeking to fill the position of Software Engineer in Kansas.  The position will help support Auctor’s clients in their software development needs in a variety of solutions.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analysis, design, development, and implementation of data integration, ETL, and web services solutions
Involvement in the development life cycle and performing definition and feasibility analysis
Troubleshoot issues and solve problems, identify potential process improvement areas
Implementation of APIs based on architecture guidelines and frameworks
Write object-oriented, clean, and maintainable code
Deliver quality results on time with minimal supervision
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Languages
o .NET C# (.Net Framework 4.8 & .Net Core 3.1+) Minimum 8 years - Current
o VB.Net – some experience desired
o COBOL – a plus, but not required

Web Services
o Web API (development of published services- not just consumption)
o Microservices development and design

Database
o SQL Server 2017+ (proficiency in T-SQL and SSIS) Minimum 8 years – should have strong experience writing stored procedures and some experience writing SSIS packages.
o Strong ETL experience (multiple past ETL projects)
o Oracle (PL/SQL) - some experience desired
o DB2 – some experience desired

Soft Skills
o Proven success as a technical team leader in an agile environment
o Good mentor & coach to junior developer
o Strong communication skills
o Attention to detail

Education and certifications  
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Microsoft MSCD or other software development certifications are helpful but not required.

Salary -  depending on skills and experience (full-time employee)
